What makes you different from other residential cleaning services?

Spic and Span x2 is a proudly local business in Kingston operated by family, to serve family. Megan and Brittany emphasize sustainable, environmentally-friendly and responsible business practices during your terms of service. Spic and Span x2 has designed a pre-consultation that ensures the comfortability of new clients in the on-boarding process, identifies important factors like product allergies, pet accommodation(s), and room-to-room assessments so as to minimize potential risk to your home.

What do your services include?

A comprehensive list can be found here. Services are priced as hourly rates and depend on a client’s frequency of service: one time, weekly, biweekly or monthly. Rates start at $105.00/hour.

Upon initial contact, prospective clients will be provided with Spic and Span x2’s information package that reviews hourly rates in greater detail, provides pricing, and payment options; information about appointment cancellations, rescheduling and travel fees, alongside important terms and conditions.

How does Covid-19 impact your cleaning services?

Every member of Spic and Span x2 team continues to understand and respect the severity around Covid-19. Spic and Span x2 integrates extra sanitization of high traffic and common touch areas in every cleaning package. Common and high touch areas include door knobs, drawer and faucet handles, light switches and fixtures, stair railings and banisters.

As with any other illness, Megan and Brittany diligently assess their wellness prior to every appointment to ensure the safety of the families they provide appointments for. In the event Spic and Span x2 have to cancel an appointment directly related to Covid-19 precautions, clients are entitled to a full refund of their deposit fee, alongside priority rescheduling when circumstances permit. 

How can I change or cancel my booked appointment?

In the event a client is unable to keep their booked appointment, clients must provide 48 hours notice, otherwise clients pay a $25 cancellation charge. In the event a client would like to reschedule their appointment at a later date, the client will be optioned with several future dates provided by team members of Spic and Span x2.
